I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel San Anton Benasque during the Easter break, and it truly captivated my heart as a landscape photographer. Nestled in a charming valley with stunning mountain views, this 3-star gem offers a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the beautiful Posets-Maladeta Nature Reserve. The location is excellent, only a short drive from the slopes of Cerler, making it an ideal spot for both skiing enthusiasts and nature lovers, just like my companions and me. The highlight was the delightful El Rincón del Foc restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious tapas by the wood fireplace, creating a homely atmosphere that felt like a warm embrace after a chilly day outside. One of the standout experiences was the staff's attention to detail; they prepared a takeaway breakfast for our early departure, which reflected their commitment to excellent service. With free self-parking and an inviting terrace to unwind, Hotel San Anton is a serene haven that I wholeheartedly recommend for those seeking tranquility and breathtaking scenery in the heart of the Spanish Pyrenees.
